Photography has always been a passion for me. I like to capture the world around me but by trying to show it from a different angle or by focusing on a detail or a material. The notion of sharing is, for me, also an integral part of the photo. What could be nicer than presenting your vision, exchanging ideas and points of view and exhibiting your prints? Who am I?
If I had to define my approach, I would say that it is one of an everyday photographer who seeks to find the surprising in what he meets and by remaining on a work and a natural rendering. I have been doing photography for more than 20 years, shooting when time and opportunity allow it through chance encounters, walks and trips. Like many others, I started with a film compact, continued with an expert digital compact to be able to go further in creativity and abandon automatism. I have now been working exclusively on digital SLRs for almost 10 years. I never start with a preconceived idea of the photo I want to take or the place I want to capture. This is the moment when we meet, my subject and I, that I seek to represent, to capture a vision, an emotion or a sensation. I try to represent a particular way of looking at the world, my own. I therefore try to enhance or bring an original touch to objects, landscapes or subjects that we can all walk past without even paying attention. I especially enjoy playing with lines, curves or being spotlighted on a detail; turn around, find a different or original way of representing the subject; play with light, backlighting and contrasts; work with a contrasted rendering in B&W or a more pastel color tone. Through this site, it is a window on my universe and my personal vision that I am opening to you.

La fotografía siempre ha sido una pasión para mí. Me gusta capturar el mundo que me rodea, pero tratando de mostrarlo desde un ángulo diferente o centrándome en un detalle o un material. ¿Quién soy?
Si tuviera que definir mi enfoque, diría que es el de un fotógrafo cotidiano que busca encontrar lo sorprendente en lo que encuentra y permaneciendo en una obra y una representación natural. Hé estado haciendo fotografía durante más de 20 años, fotografiando cuando el tiempo y la oportunidad lo permiten a través de encuentros casuales, caminatas y viajes. Como muchos otros, comencé con un compacto de película, seguí con un compacto digital experto para poder ir más allá en la creatividad y abandonar el automatismo. Ahora he estado trabajando exclusivamente en SLR digitales durante casi 10 años. Nunca salgo con una idea preconcebida de la foto que quiero hacer o del lugar que quiero capturar. Este es el momento en el que nos encontramos, mi sujeto y yo, que busco representar, capturar una visión, una emoción o una sensación. Intento representar una forma particular de ver el mundo, la mía. Por lo tanto, trato de realzar o dar un toque original a los objetos, paisajes o sujetos por los que todos podemos caminar sin siquiera prestar atención. Disfruto especialmente jugar con líneas, curvas o ser destacado en un detalle; dar la vuelta, encontrar una forma diferente u original de representar el tema; jugar con la luz, la retroiluminación y los contrastes; trabajar con una representación contrastada en blanco y negro o un tono de color más pastel. A través de este sitio, es por tanto una ventana a mi universo y mi visión personal que les estoy abriendo.
